Votes can be submitted online at http://www.new7wonders.com/ and more than 1 billion people are expected to submit, with winners announced in 2011. A similar effort was executed two years ago when Christ the Redeemer, a famous statue in Rio de Janeiro , was elected as one of the seven man-made wonders of the world.
