USA Today brings word of the Georgia O’Keeffe exhibit opening this Friday at The National Cowgirl Museum in Fort Worth. “Georgia O’Keeffe and the Faraway: Nature and Image” focuses on the lesser-known works the artist created while in the American Southwest, most notably New Mexico. In addition to a replica of O’Keeffe’s campsite, the show features nine paintings, six sketches, and more than two dozen candid photographs of the artist. The exhibit runs through September 6th and then moves to the O’Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe, NM. [USA Today]
