The challenge: Raise $9,830 through whatever means necessary , for the financing of a documentary about digital nomading. The funds will go towards buying camera/lighting/sound equipment and the computer/software for editing. Deadline: July 1st. This Week’s Results Another great week, we raised $1193 ($500 of which came from selling my Canon 40D, which I’ll talk about). At this point we’re 1/3 of the way there, and honestly, I’m just a little shocked we made it this far. Behind the Scenes: 1. Someone said to me, “Wow how do you do it all?” And the answer is, I don’t! Last night I was planning on writing this post, and I ended up snuggling with the baby instead. It was midnight when I finally reached over and closed the laptop, giving up on the idea of squeezing a little work in. (That’s my way of getting in my excuse for being 24 hours late on this post. Mea culpa.) 2. I said, “Whatever means necessary” and I meant it. I’ve started the process of going through the last of my “stuff”, getting ready for hitting the road in July and picking out those things I can sell for the cause.
